Amy Shanker Las Vegas Concert reviews
Star Wars is not to be missed
I am not a big Amy Shanker fan, disclaimer. I can take it or leave it.
Attended this event with an Amy Shanker fan, however. I expected to yawn my way through the performance, enjoy the live performance for its face value, and call it a night. This is SOOOO what did not happen.
The storyline was presented in an organized manner that even those who have never seen the movies could understand and follow. The presentation of themes based on the chosen musical piece was amazing. The master of ceremonies was none other than C3PO himself. John Williams' scoring of the music to the video was artistic and enchanting. He was charming, and well rehearsed. His "surprise" costume reveal made the crowd roar with approval. (and made this non-SW fan giggle) The use of the multiple screens and lasers made it an exciting show for all ages, as there were A LOT of under 15 kids there with their parents, it was a family affair.
I was pulled in by the experience. Really, if you have a chance to see this, DONT MISS IT. It is for both the die-hard fan and those who simply appreciate music.
